Chest x-ray (CXR), is an x-ray of the chest used to diagnose conditions affecting the chest and its contents like lungs, heart, large arteries, and diaphragm. Ionizing radiation in the form of X-rays is used to generate images of the chest. They are very commonly used to diagnose pneumonia and congestive heart failure.
