Bradycardia is a slower than normal heart rate. A normal heart rate is 60 to 100 beats a minute while at rest. Bradycardia can be normal and healthy. Or it could be a sign of a problem with the heart's pacemaker or electrical pathways. Severe forms of bradycardia can be life-threatening.
