Milind Soman fitness routine:Milind Soman engages in various types of workouts, some of which are atypical in nature. He is not someone who confines himself to the structure and routine of a gym. The actor and model, who is a fitness enthusiast, has exercised in deserts and forests, and mountains and rivers. He also loves to use interesting props to boost his health and keep himself fit at 59. Recently, he posted a video on Instagram, in which he demonstrated yet another age-defying exercise by working out with a traditional 'gada' -- the type seen in mythological shows and films, and which used to be a part of the ancient Indian weaponry. The fitness fiend also wrote an interesting caption alongside the video: "Getting ready for another beautiful experience. Need to be more regular with a gada of this weight, it was a bit of a struggle. Jai Hanuman! Jai Bhole Nath! #KeepMoving." Soman appeared to be standing on a cliff, with a scenic view behind him. Dressed in a yellow-coloured traditional Indian dhoti, he lifted the gada over his head repeatedly, moving his arms in circular motions to work on his upper body strength. He also flaunted his ripped abs and muscles. The gada was visibly heavy, and Soman appeared to struggle just a bit.
When doing weight exercises, one has to be careful about their form and technique, lest it leads to injuries because of assuming a bad posture. Soman appeared to be working out with the heaviest gada, especially since he is physically active in general. Beginners need to exercise caution and do these workouts in the presence of a trainer, or start with a lower and lesser weight initially.
