I am a 27-year-old man. I have recently joined a gym to lose weight. My friends have said that HIIT is better than normal cardio for weight loss. Is it true? What is HIIT? Does it help in weight loss? Is it better than regular cardio? Please answer.

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a short training module which typically lasts for not more than 20 minutes. It also causes the muscles to adapt and tone at a faster rate as compared to regular cardio workouts.
