Weight Loss Tip #84 – Get rid of flabby arms with this exercise

This exercise can be very effective to strengthen and tone the muscles of your shoulders, chest, forearms as well as the abdomen and back.

If flabby arms are your problem area, then triceps dip can be an ideal exercise for you. It involves moving your triceps through an entire range of motions and using your body weight as resistance ensuring that you get well-defined shoulders and arms. According to fitness expert, Mamtaa Joshi, triceps dip can be very effective to strengthen tone the muscles of your shoulders, chest, forearms, abdomen and back. This exercise will burn more calories to tighten your arms. Both the arms will receive an equal amount of resistance to define and tone the upper arm muscles. It will also boost your metabolism and help you burn fat even when you are not working out. Calculate how much weight you can lose in a month here. You can perform triceps dips at the gym on a machine or home on a chair. Here is how you can do it. Also Read - Chew gums and pout often to get rid of double chin

Steps:

  • Sit on a chair and keep your legs forward.
  • Now place your palms on the edge of the chair and push your body forward in such a way that your hips hover over the ground, and your feet point forward.
  • Now bend your elbows and lower your hips towards the floor.
  • Next, push yourself up and come back to the starting position.
  • Doing ten repetitions will help tone your arms in no time.

Apart from exercising, it is also vital that you get adequate protein to avoid muscle loss. Include foods such as egg whites, lean meat, and low-fat dairy to boost your protein intake.
