While that is important, eating healthy foods is equally vital. These foods should not just be low in calories, but also contain the right kind of nutrients that’ll make sure that your body keeps functioning normally. Even though foods like rice and chapattis may seem high in calories, you shouldn’t give them up totally as they contain essential carbohydrates required by your body. However, you should eat fruits like oranges and watermelon as they are low in calories and rich in a nutrient called fibre which keeps you feeling full for longer. In a nutshell, the 10 foods that are good for people trying to lose weight are – fruits like apples and oranges, dal, egg whites, fish, flaxseeds, dry fruits, spinach, curd, chillies, green tea and garlic.
