Staying motivated and consistent with your workouts and diet is the only way you can lose weight. The moment you start cheating on either, your efforts will go down the drain. So if you plan to lose weight, then make sure there is no hurdle or obstacle in your journey towards the goal.
Begin with waking up early, setting a schedule, getting habituated to eating right, counting calories and being physically active. If you think you are all set and nothing can come in your way, think about this. Have you considered the pains and injuries involved during the process of losing weight? You ll be surprised but many people end up quitting in just a few days of workout because of some injury or the other.
So if you want to achieve your weight loss goals, educate yourself about the various injuries or pains associated with exercise and then understand how you can prevent and overcome them. Muscle soreness is going to be common. In fact, it is an indicator that your body is accepting the change and will show results if you continue. So don t be put off by the discomfort.
With proper warm up and cool down, this pain or soreness vanishes in a week s time. However, you may suffer from injuries during running like a stress fracture or blisters or pulled muscles. Or you may suffer with injuries while performing yoga too due to overstretching or misalignment, It is important that you understand the cause if these injuries.
Begin every new exercise under guidance and master the correct technique. Incorrect postures result in a lot of muscle pain and injuries. Drink lots of water to prevent muscle pulls. If you suffer from knee or shin pain, wear knee and shin pads. Do not skip warm up and cool down exercises ever. With these simple tips, you ll be able to exercise consistently and experience remarkable results too.
