While it is one thing to decide losing weight, it is quite another to stay inspired. Losing weight can be a long process, and staying inspired can be just as tough as lifting weights and resisting favourite dishes.
Having a time-based goal is good, but you need to realise that you'll have to adopt healthy living for the rest of your life too. Stick posters of inspirational 'before-after' weight loss stories, read books about health and fitness, constantly validate yourself by reaching your fitness goals and feel happy while doing all this.
If you think exercising every day for the rest of your life is extremely difficult, think of a professional athlete who has to do it several hours in a day. If you think good food and healthy food do not go hand in hand, pick up a book that lists out low cal recipes and put such notions to rest.
Several people have tried to lose weight and achieved success. You aren't any different from them and know that if they can, you will too. While you are on your way to achieving your dream body, you may think that losing weight is useless and you were born to be fat. Repress these notions as negative, as somewhere there is a clock ticking. What is the guarantee that 2 years later, you won't want to lose weight again? Do you really want to waste all the hard work that you have put in?
