Weight Loss Tip #107 – Suck your stomach in while brisk walking

Here's an easy and super effective way to get toned abs without any crunches!

One of the biggest struggles for everyone who is trying to lose weight is getting rid of that unwanted belly fat. Many people complain that despite regularly going for cardio workouts like running on the treadmill or cycling, among others, their abs still tend to look far from toned. However, this is because the core of your body or abs are not directly exercised while you perform other exercises and for most people, even doing several crunches a day doesn t accomplish the desired goal. So here s a far easier and effective technique that has worked wonders for me while I was trying to get more toned abs! Also, watch this 12-minute exercise routine for a flat tummy. Start by wearing a comfortable and sturdy pair of shoes or even sandals with adequate padding. You can also select your favourite playlist on your mobile or iPod to make this exercise session more fun. Instead of hitting the gym, you can go for a long walk in your nearby park or garden. However, make sure you are walking faster than you usually do or what is more commonly called brisk walking . Once you are at a pace you re comfortable with, consciously suck your stomach in simultaneously while brisk walking. You could also try these 5 exercises for strong abs. Try brisk walking with your stomach sucked in for at least 10-15 minutes at a stretch and then you can relax your stomach s muscles and even reduce your speed if you re feeling too tired. If walking is not for you, here are 10 yoga poses to achieve a flat stomach. It is important to get sweaty while brisk walking because if you re not, you are definitely not doing it right! After a short break of not more than two minutes, continue sucking your stomach in while walking. Even while you’re at work or home, remember to consciously suck your stomach in and release your muscles after a few minutes at regular intervals throughout the day. You will see the results of a firmer stomach within a week or two and don t worry if your stomach s muscles feel sore after exercising. That only means you are on your way to a flatter stomach!
