Can't put on weight? Try these Ayurvedic remedies for weight gain

Skinny people can gain healthy weight with these Ayurvedic herbs.

Losing weight is an uphill task, but so is gaining weight. Many people who are born with a hyperactive metabolism (we're a little jealous) struggle to put on muscle and weight and are cursed to stay skinny all their lives. However enviable their plight may seem, the truth is that skinny people also get shamed for their body more harshly than fat people. Some people also lose a great deal of weight after prolonged illnesses, depression or anorexia. Eat these foods for a healthy weight gain.

Being underweight also has its share of health issues like decreased stamina, low tolerance to cold and a weakened immune system. Overeating is never the answer, but you can eat these foods for weight gain. Can you put on healthy weight on a vegetarian diet? Here are some of the vegetarian foods that help you gain weight.

Ayurveda offers a range of remedies for weight gain. However, Ayurveda also offers treatment for low body weight with herbal remedies. Dr Surya Bhagwati, from Dr Vaidya's New Age Ayurveda explains how you can reach a standard body weight with these herbs.
