Struggling with weight gain? If you re aiming at weight gain, the consumption of high-calorie foods must be balanced with exercises that help you bulk up. Weight gain, just like weight loss, needs consistent efforts over a period of time. Tips for healthy weight gain include eating about 500-600 calories than your regular diet, loading up on high-calorie and high-protein diet and weight training at least 3 times a week. The combination of potatoes and milk pacifies vata and pitta dosha. It increases kapha dosha. The potato increases pitta dosha, but the milk and sugar in this recipe pacifies pitta, if taken moderately. People of vata constitution and those who are underweight can consume this without difficulty. This potato pudding will strengthen the body and help to increase weight. It is also rejuvenating and aphrodisiac in nature. It increases fat if taken in excessive quantities. So those who are obese should take this in moderation. This recipe is difficult to digest, and can cause indigestion in people who have a low digestive fire. Here are some health benefits of potatoes. Ingredients:

1/2 kg potatoes

1/2 litre milk

Elaichi powder (optional)

Method:

1) Clean potatoes and boil them. Peel and mash them.

2) Pour the milk into a pan and boil for three minutes. Stir it. Add sugar and stir again.

3) Add the potatoes and a bit of elaichi powder.

4) Serve with sliced almonds. It is best eaten hot.
