Ever thought that a fitness regime could be inspired by watching farm kids at work? Well, The ViPR a new fitness regime developed by Michol Dalcourt was inspired exactly the same way. Combining both movement and resistance this regime introduces a new concept to the fitness world known as Loaded Movement Training.
'Movement is the necessary antidote against disease and decay. Moving with external load creates strong bodies that can function with optimum effectiveness, thus Loaded Movement Training is an essential component of our training and conditioning programs.', Michel Dalcourt told ViPRfit.com.
The equipment which looks like a fat pipe with gaps in between, is being used increasingly everyday by fitness enthusiasts all over the world. One of the major advantages, experts claim, is that it gives one a full body workout along with super strength and agility. Known as ViPR which stands for Vitality, performance and reconditioning this wonder equipment could be used in a variety of ways. You can lift it in the air or swing it beside your body to build muscle and tone body. What more? It's also known to burn calories real fast.
Here is a sample exercise that you can do with the equipment.
But, do you need to be really fit in order to do it? The answer is no. Kunal Sharma, India's first certified ViPR trainer tells us, 'ViPR is safe for everyone. However, a person should know how to use it otherwise they may injure themselves. It can be dangerous for beginners, without proper instructions.' Talking about the cost and its availability in India, Sharma said, 'ViPR is not available in India. Also, it's very expensive. A 4 kg ViPR costs around 8 to 10 thousand rupees.'
We hope it soon becomes available in India. In the meanwhile, you can try fitness regimes like P90X and The Scientific Seven Minute Workout.
