'Vinyasa' actually means a set of movements that align breathing pattern and flow of energy in Sanskrit. In yoga, the Vinyasa flow is a type of Surya Namaskar. It is composed of three different yoga poses -- parvatasana or the downward dog pose, Bhujangasana or the cobra pose and Kumbhakasana or the plank pose.
'Vinyasa flow' is extremely helpful for those who want to lose weight. It is a whole body workout but the flow of the movements increases your heart rate, tones your arms and stimulates your core muscles.
