Overhead tricep extention

  • Stand by placing your feet hip-width apart.
  • Hold a medium weight dumbbell with both your hands bending your elbows behind your hands.
  • Then straighten your hands to lift the dumbbell and then bend your elbows to lower the dumbbell. This completes one round of the exercise.
  • Perform 2-3 sets of 12 repetitions of this exercise.

Elbow plank

The elbow plank is excellent to tone and strengthens your biceps, chest shoulder and chest. Here s how you can do it.

Elbow plank

  • Rest your knees and forearms on the floor.
  • Then step out your feet to get into a plank position.
  • Make sure that your abs are pulled in and your spine is parallel to the floor.
  • Hold the plank for as long as you can. If you are a beginner, try to keep up for at least 20 to 30 seconds and then extend the duration as you get more comfortable and stronger in this position.
  • Repeat this elbow plank three times.
