Sculpt your arms with this easy move

This move is excellent to work your upper arms and shoulders while working your biceps and upper back at the same time.

Do your arms jiggle when you are waving hello? Don t worry as this move can easily help you to get rid of flabby arms. Using dumbbells can be very effective in toning the arms. Based on your strength, grab dumbbells in both hands and perform this isometric move that ensures that you feel the burn.

Upright row with dumbbells works on your upper arms and shoulders while also working on your upper back at the same time. It will also target and tone the lower back and hips. It may look easy but gives you an intense workout and helps you burn calories. However, avoid lifting weights if you are a heart patient.

Steps to perform:

  • Stand straight with your feet hip-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand. Hold the dumbbells in such a way that your closed palms face your body. Your shoulders should be in line with your pelvis and your knees should be slightly bent.
  • Now raise the dumbbells to your shoulder level by bending your elbows out to the sides. Make sure that you are keeping the dumbbells close to the body.
  • Gently lower them to the starting position to complete one repetition.
  • Perform 2-3 sets of 12-15 repetitions of this exercise.
