How much water do you drink every day? The recommended total daily fluid intake is 3 litres for men and of 2.2 l. for women [1]. If you drink any lesser and are struggling to increase you water intake, then these tips will help you increase your water intake. Here are some tips that can help you drink at least eight glasses of water every day.

  1. Keep a water bottle handy- Keep your bottle at your desk or near your bed. If it is in your sight, you will be constantly reminded of your goal and are likely to drink more water.
  2. Set reminders- Set an alarm to remind yourself every hour that it is time to drink water. If you want to stay healthy, drink more water.
  3. Stick notes- Stick notes at your office desk or on your study table or any other place where you spend most of your time, reminding you to drink water.
  4. Remind yourself about the benefits of drinking water- Drinking water helps your skin glow as it keeps you hydrated and not only that, but did you know that you can lose weight by drinking water too! Aren t these reasons enough to motivate you to drink more water?
  5. Add natural flavours to the water- Many people complain that they don t like the taste of water or prefer drinking a flavoured drink over regular water. If this is the case with you, then add natural flavours to your water like lemon or honey. Try this cucumber infused water.
