The winter months are here and in order to make sure you stay in the pink of health, you need to eat right. Dr Anu Gupta, a US-trained weight loss/management expert from New Delhi, lists 5 healthy superfoods that can help you stay fit this winter season.

Hard boiled eggs - Eggs are a great source of protein and contain essential amino acids that the body needs to build everything from muscle fibres to brain chemicals. Green tea - It reduces the blood fat while detoxifying the body and suppressing untimely food cravings. It has a multitude of health and wellbeing benefits. If you are into fitness, it makes the perfect pre-workout drink. Drinking green tea regularly has been shown to help suppress appetite and increase metabolism both of which can help you burn a few calories while you celebrate this season. Green salad - Eating a low-calorie salad before main meals can help in filling you up and ensure that you get the recommended daily intake of veggies.
