Sukhasana or the easy poseSukhasana or the Easy Pose is one of the best yoga asanas for a relaxed mind and body. It's an asana that helps calm your mind and improves your concentration and focus. This asana also helps strengthen your back, corrects bad posture, tones the muscles of your knees and hips and makes your entire nervous system robust. If you have had a tough day and just need to relax, this asana is for you. Here is how you can do this pose:

Steps to so this asana:

  • Sit down crossed legged
  • Place your palms on your knees palms facing up
  • Join the tip of your index finger and you thumb
  • Close your eyes and relax
  • Concentrate on your breath while you do so
  • Stay in the asana for 5 minutes

Tip: Avoid doing this asana if you have recently suffered a knee injury.
