While we keep stressing on the fact that all girls are beautiful and we must stop body shaming, picking on short girls is still the easiest thing to do. Yes! We all have been there. This has gone to such an extent that now we, short girls, have even stopped paying heed to it. But let me just jot down a few things that short girls are tired of hearing, with the hope that people might read and stop saying these things:
1. 'What's the temperature down there?'- A ridiculous thing you could ever say!
2. 'Aww... you can shop in the kid's section!' - Yes! I can, and that's a privilege.
2. 'Please carry your ID card everywhere, you look like a kid.'- Sure! But I don't punch like a kid.
3. 'Aww... look at you getting angry. Tiny ninja!'- Arghhh
4. Literally everywhere- 'You should be buying a half ticket, you know.'
5. 'You're not short, you're cute.'- SMH
6. 'What's your height?'- Short. It is short!
7. When you right in front of them and they be like, 'Hey! Where are you, I can't see you.' And then look down and be like, 'Gosh! You are down here. *Angriest face ever*
8. 'Oh you didn't get the joke? It must have bounced your head. You are tiny.'- Make this STOP!
9. 'Mom didn't give you Complan? Tch... Tch... that's why you didn't grow.'
10. 'Why don't you wear long heels?'- So that I don't hit you with it by mistake.
11. 'You should wear a vertically striped dress to look tall.' - Thanks, no thanks.
12. 'My 10-year-old would be as tall as you!'- *rolls eyes*
13. 'Where does all these food you eat actually fit in your body?'- I outsource digestion.
14. 'You should try jumping/skipping. It helps.'- And what about beating up people with unsolicited opinions?
15. 'You are not short, you are vertically challenged.'- Who created this term?
16. 'You still wear your childhood clothes? No?'- Yes! I save more money than you.
