Drinking loads of water is the key to staying hydrated, especially during summer. However, it doesn t help you to replenish the lost nutrients from the body but maintain the fluid balance. Hence, to maintain the electrolyte balance in the body along with hydrating the body, try this tasty and healthy orange drink this season. Packed with the wellness of vitamin C and fibre along with nutrients, this drink forms a perfect home remedy to deal with dehydration, even in people suffering from diarrhoea.

How to make this drink?

  • cup of fresh orange juice (60 ml)
  • 2 cups of regular water
  • teaspoon of baking soda
  • Two teaspoons of honey

In a pitcher, add fresh orange juice, water and baking soda. Mix all the ingredients properly till the baking soda is completely dissolved. Now, add honey and stir it, before you pour the contents into two glasses and drink. If you have spent the day under the sun, you can even add few ice cubes for a cooling effect. How does it help?
