Avoiding all kind of fatty foods to stick to your weight loss plan? We bet you get nightmares where all types of cheese, oil and butter are screaming that you eat them. Good news! You can include oil and cheese to your weight loss plan. Fat is good for your body, provided you eat it in limited quantity. Don't avoid fatty foods altogether. Here are some fatty foods that you must include in your weight loss diet.

Cheese

Cheese is one of the fatty foods that people avoid when trying to lose weight. Cheese is packed with proteins, plus, it is that one food item you drool over even when you see it on television. Instead of quitting cheese altogether, eat it in moderation and opt for certain types of cheese like mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, etc. that will not affect your weight loss goals.

Cottage cheese or Paneer

Paneer is rich in protein and calcium. It is also a good source of linoleic acid, a fatty acid that actually helps you burn fat and lose weight. If you are worried about calories, you can try few low-calorie paneer recipes that let you enjoy your favourite food and don't add calories.

Nuts

A lot of people avoid eating nuts to lose weight because of the high fat content. Yes, nuts have fat, but they are mono and polyunsaturated fats which are healthy fats and aid weight loss. Include nuts like cashews, almonds, macadamia nuts, etc. in your diet. Just a handful of nuts every day will also work.

Olive oil

Olive is rich in mono and polyunsaturated fats that help you lose weight and is a much healthier choice than other cooking oils. It also boosts your metabolism.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil speeds up your metabolism and also burns fat. It also increases your HDL cholesterol level (the good cholesterol). Add 2 tablespoons or 30 g of coconut oil while cooking every day to lose weight.

Ghee or clarified butter

Ghee is one of the most favourite ingredients that Indians add in their food, especially during festivals. A lot of people think they should avoid having ghee to lose weight. Well, as they say, too much of anything is bad. Ghee contains linoleic acid which helps you lose weight. You can have 2 teaspoons of ghee every day. Add to your bowl of rice or the parathas.
