lebron'The King has decided to return home' screamed the headlines as LeBron James announced his decision to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team he left to be part of Miami Heat in 2010. He did win two NBA titles with the Heat but there was always the sense that he would return 'home'. 29 years old now LeBron James remains one of the most well-known athletes around the world and one of the best to play basketball. We take a peek at his fitness and training regime to see how the 6'8'' athlete stays at the top of his game:

Talking to Men's Health, Stan Kellers, James' former strength and conditioning coach said that while LeBron's leaping ability is down to his genes, there are ways to improve oneself physically for basketball. James' workout plan is a combination of cutting-edge training methods and old school muscle-building workouts.

The basketball player does his squats standing on a vibrating platform which helps him boost strength and power and his standard moves include push-ups, pull-ups and riding the bike.

Each session will begin with calisthenics and some core-building moves which would be followed by supersets of the exercises mentioned each day.

Monday

Superset of Push-ups and Pull-ups (as many as you can)

Superset of Dumbbell Snatch and Single Arm Cable Rows

Tuesday

Superset of Dumbbell Squat and Swiss Ball Hip Raise and Leg Curl

Superset of Dumbbell Step-up and Single Leg Standing Calf Raise

Wednesday: Rest

Thursday

Superset of Single-Arm Dumbbell Shoulder Press and Single-Arm Dumbbell Row

FRIDAY
