Leg raisesIf you're looking for something that can loosen you up on the go and also train your hamstring muscles, then Front Leg Raises are just the exercise for you. The exercise has a stretching effect on the muscles, resulting in a total workout for your hamstrings. What's great is that the exercise falls into a beginner category, so doing it won't be a major task.

How to do it:

Step 1: Position yourself standing with a chair or any kind of firm support.

Step 2: Firstly, swing the right legs from front to back and maintain this swinging motion. Don't limit the pendulum movement and let it go as far as is comfortable for you, as per your flexibility. Keep in mind that the leg should remain straight during the exercise.

Step 3: Return to the initial posture and repeat step 1 with the other leg. 5-10 repetitions with each leg should suffice.

This stretching exercise can activate the sleeping leg muscles and also strengthens your hamstrings.
