The Barbell Ab Rollout is an exercise that would help you to strengthen your abs, as well as shoulder and back muscles with a grinding challenge.
How to do it:
Step 1: Your initial position will require you to be in a push position with your hands on a barbell (technically with 5-10 lbs on each side)
Step 2: With a slight arc, lift your hips and roll back the barbell towards your feet, while exhaling. Make sure the knees do not bend. Your glutes should come up, abs should be tight and arms should be perpendicular to the floor.
Step 3: After you reach the top, start over again by rolling the barbell forward, while inhaling.
Repeat the exercise as per your trainer's recommendations. Please perform this exercise only if you have a healthy back. Beginners could also perform this exercise on their knees.
