Kareena Kapoor Khan fitness: Instead of working out extensively at the gym, Kareena Kapoor Khan prefers doing yoga and other bodyweight exercises at home. She is one of the fittest celebrities, who is often seen exercising with her trainer Namrata Purohit -- a Pilates expert and sports nutritionist -- performing some insane yoga poses that are quite challenging. From backbends to stretches, Kareena has done it all. Recently, she was seen doing some balancing exercises at her house, which required her to carry her body weight on her arms and legs.
"@kareenakapoorkhan perfecting the balancing act. Great to work on mind and body coordination, balance, core strength and stability! A small little glimpse of how we played around with the lights today," Purohit mentioned in the caption of a workout video shared earlier this month, in which the mother-of-two was seen making a bridge with her body, balancing her weight on her arms and legs. Take a look at the video.

In this interesting exercise routine featuring lights, the 'Kurbaan' actor was challenged to touch the lights as they blinked arbitrarily, all while resting on her fours. Without knowing which light would turn on, the actor was challenged to rest one arm on the floor and use the other to touch the light pod. It is a great exercise in building core strength and reducing abdominal fat.
Next, she was seen standing in a circle of lights. While keeping one leg grounded, she used the other to touch the lights as they went off. Once again, Kareena was not aware as to which light would blink. She used the strength of one leg to carry her weight and also prevent herself from falling, as she touched the blinkers.
A unique exercise, you can try this at home if you want to improve your body strength and balance. These workouts essentially focus on your core muscles and help you reduce belly fat, while also improving balance and coordination in the muscles of the ankles, knees, and hips. Additionally, these exercises can also reduce the risk of injury by improving the ability to sense the position and movement of the body.
