Who does not like to indulge in the all-time favourite kheer. But if that sweet treat leaves back a stain of guilt on your heart every time you eat it, you can perhaps try preparing this kheer with a difference. Made with chana dal and jaggery, it can be a reasonably healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth. While chana dal is rich in vitamins and full of fibre, jaggery is an excellent source of iron.

  • Add jaggery and mix well.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add rice rawa and cashew nuts.
  • Mix well and cook for 5 more minutes.
