People like you and I struggle to avoid snacking on street side or cafeteria junk while at work because eating at restaurants is as unhealthy as eating junk. Staying fit is important too and each one of us has to make some sacrifices. But what about those people whose work profile reads reviewing and tasting food ? Well, we are talking about food critics and reviewers across the country. Here s how you can maintain your weight loss diet even while eating out. Food critics and reviewers today are as conscious as or in fact a little more conscious about their health than us. We eat out once a day or probably once a week but for them, it is an everyday thing. So what do they do to stay in shape and care for their health? Saloni Mirchandani Malkani and Sameer Malkani, founders of the Food Bloggers Association or The FBAI are busy with reviewing restaurant menus and attending events throughout the year. Sameer ensures he eats 5 different fruits every day. He also ensures that whenever they eat at home, the food is light and healthy. Both Sameer and Saloni know that water excretes all the waste and toxins from the body and also helps dissolve fat. So they ensure drinking lots of water throughout the day. Here s how drinking water can help you burn calories.

Portion control is one of the solutions to eating out. While eating out, I try to taste everything though in smaller helpings and portions, which helps not overeating. Walking every day is also a must. I walk specifically with a mindset built for exercise which helps keep fit says Sameer.

Founder of Pune Eat Outs, Aniruddha Patil s portfolio isn t any different. I try to eat one meal at home every day and try to eat early dinners. My lunch and sleep timings are regular as well says Aniruddha. He tries to schedule his food tastings and reviews around lunch so he can digest the heavy.
