Everybody loves noodles, and this tasty preparation has sesame which is helpful for lowering cholesterol and improving heart health.
Ingredients
2/3 cup peanut butter
4 Tbsp soya sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
2 Tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp raw red chilis
1/2 lb linguine
2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Method
In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, soya sauce, garlic and green onion and mix well. Add the sesame oil and cayenne pepper. Heat slowly, whisking until smooth. Set aside.
Cook the linguine according to the package directions. Drain. Place in a large bowl. Add the peanut sauce and toss to coat. Garnish with the sesame seeds. Serve hot or cold. (Read: Vegan diet: Yes it's possible to get protein without animal cruelty)
