Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons mixed nuts and seeds (cashews, almonds, pistachios, melon seeds, poppy seeds, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or stevia (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
  • A few rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine almond milk, mixed nuts and seeds, honey or stevia, ground cardamom, and saffron strands in a blender.
  2. Cheesecloth to remove coarse bits.
  3. Serve the chilled thandai garnished with rose petals if desired.
