Healthy recipe: Stuffed grilled jalapeño

Try this delicious and healthy appetiser made using jalape os.

Jalape os have varied health benefits ranging from curing migraine and headaches, fighting inflammation, to increasing your metabolism and helping you lose weight faster! Try this appetiser for the innumerable health benefits and the explosion of flavours with every bite.

Ingredients

  • Jalape os - 4, cut lengthwise and de-seeded
  • Shredded boiled chicken - 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes - 2 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Onions - 2 tbsp, finely chopped
  • Olive oil- 1 tsp
  • Cottage cheese -1/4 cup, grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

1. Pre-heat the oven to medium heat.

2. In a mixing bowl, add the boiled, shredded chicken, onions, tomatoes, olive oil and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Add salt and black pepper to the mixture accordingly.

3. Now, stuff the jalape os with this mixture properly. Top the stuffed jalape os with the grated cottage cheese.

4. Place the jalape os in the pre-heated oven on the grill plate. Grill for 5 minutes or more. Remove when the bottom of the jalape os are charred. Serve while hot!
