Want a new way to include capsicum in your diet? Try this stuffed capsicum recipe. This vegetable is rich in vitamin A and C and is extremely healthy. It strengthens immunity, helps in weight loss and prevents indigestion.
Ingredients:
Capsicum - 5
Soya granules - 1 cup
Onion (big) - 1
Garlic - 2 tbsp
Ginger - 2 tbsp
Green chilli - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
2 tsp soya sauce
2 tsp corn flour
tsp powdered jaggery
Method:
Soak the soya granules and squeeze out all the water.
Chop onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies finely.
Heat oil in the pan and fry all the chopped ingredients.
Add soya granules and let it cook.
Add finely chopped coriander leaves and 1 tsp corn flour.
Cut the capsicum into half and stuff it with the cooked soya granules.
Dust corn flour over it.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and place the capsicum (stuffed side down) on the pan.
