Healthy recipe: Pepper prawns

If you are a prawn lover, here is a delight for you. In this recipe, prawns are sauteed with onions and black pepper that give them a very distinct flavour. It is a low calorie, yet filling and delicious recipe that contains only 150 calories. Do try it out.


  • 100 g prawns
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chili (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp black pepper (coarsely grounded)
  • tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan and saut onions till light brown.
  • Add the prawns and fry for 3 minutes on low flame.
  • Add all other ingredients and cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
