Warm up this rainy season with this heart healthy bean pasta soup. The ingredients that go in the soup are full of vitamins and minerals, have a high fibre content and the antioxidants help you ward off a range of infections and diseases. This soup can replace your entire meal as it has a perfect combination of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Not only is the soup full of goodness, it is easy and quick to make too! Here is the recipe.

Step 1: Heat olive oil in a pot and add onions to it. Saute until brown.
Step 2: To this, add garlic, celery, paprika, oregano and saute for a bit.
Step 3: Add carrots, tomatoes, half-boiled pasta and kidney beans to this pot with 2 small cups of vegetable broth, and simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Add salt and pepper to this and top it up with coriander leaves and basil.
Serve immediately.
