Love Lebanese cuisine? Well, who doesn't. The burst of flavors and interesting mix of spices makes every dish in the cuisine scrumptious and interesting. Whether its a dish with lamb or the oh-so-popular falafel, every singl recipe has a distinct flavour that makes it stand out. Shashliks are a delight that we all love in one form or the other. My favorite is the Harissa Chicken shashlik which, in my opinion, is the ultimate accompaniment to pita bread. A side of hummus and I am set for the best ever dinner. When I am in mood for something Indian, I make this coriander chicken masala. The recipe scores some extra brownies is that this is a very healthy recipe just like chicken satay, so I don't have to wait for my cheat days to enjoy this delicacy. Here's the recipe:

  • 4 large garlic cloves, unpeeled
  • 20-25 kashmiri red chilies, soaked, deseeded, drained
  • cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • tomato paste
  • cup vinegar
  • Salt to taste

  • Transfer to processor, add garlic, Kashmiri chilies, oil, sugar, tomato paste, vinegar seasoning and make smooth paste.
  • Marinate chicken with the paste and keep aside for 2 hours.
  • Arrange chicken pieces into small skewers and pan seared it on hot nonstick pan until cook.
