Healthy recipe: Fruit yoghurt parfait

After a healthy and hearty meal all you need is a good dessert to end your day on a happy note. But given the calorie-dense desserts, most of us either end our meals with a bowl of curd (as it helps digestion) or a bowl of seasonal fruit. You must try this healthy and tasty recipe from nutritionist Khyati Rupani. With the taste of fruits and the wellness of yoghurt, try this healthy fruit yoghurt parfait recipe by our expert. Ingredients:

Low-fat yoghurt: 3/4 bowl

Apple (chopped): 3 tablespoons

Papaya (chopped): 3 tablespoons

Banana (chopped): 2 tablespoons

Walnuts: 1 teaspoon crushed

Strawberry/blueberry crush: 1 teaspoon

Method:

1. Take a tall glass and layer it first with 1/3 rd cup of low-fat yoghurt into the bottom of a tall glass.

2. Now put a layer of chopped apple, followed by banana and papaya alternatively with yoghurt till the glass is filled to the top.

3. Add crushed walnut on top & pour 1 teaspoon of strawberry or blueberry crush on top of it.

4. Serve parfaits immediately to relish the yummy taste.

How healthy is it?
