Nuts laddu is filled with the goodness of roasted peanuts, dates and jaggery and is yet free of fat and low in calories. What s more, you can prepare this nuts laddoo with only four ingredients and in very little time. Here's a healthy diet plan for fasting.

Dates are an excellent source of dietary potassium and are considered good for weight loss. For the best results, use fresh seedless dates or organic dates. Peanuts are rich in monosaturated fats and oleic acid which makes it good for your heart. Eating a handful every day can keep heart disease at bay! Jaggery or gur is an excellent source of iron, a mineral that plays a key role in the production of haemoglobin. Hence, adding jaggery to your food preparations or eating a small amount of jaggery can fulfil your daily requirement of iron. Jaggery also helps detoxify your liver by flushing out harmful toxins from your body. Jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and minerals like zinc and selenium, which help prevent free-radical damage and also boost resistance against infections.

Ingredients:

  • Roasted Peanuts 1 cup
  • Dates 4 pieces
  • Cardamom seeds 1 pinch
  • Organic jaggery 1 tablespoon

Method for Preparation

  • Grind the peanuts and the cardamom seeds into a fine powder in a grinder.
  • Add jaggery and seedless dates to this mixture and grind again. Once it is well ground, place into a mixing bowl.
  • Take a handful of the mixture and mould them into medium sized spherical Laddus. Place a few sliced almonds and pistachio on the top of each laddu for garnish. You may also want to try this healthy til ke laddoo
