Healthy recipe: Fibre-rich sprouts dosa

Sprouts and oats combine here to make a delicious dosa. Rich in fibre, this dosa can be excellent if you are watching your weight. Sprouts are also rich in protein that can be beneficial for your bone health. You can relish this stuffed dosa both as a snack and mealtime option.

Ingredients

To grind

  • Moong Sprouts - 1 cup
  • Oats - cup
  • Ginger 1 small piece
  • Green chilies 1 or 2
  • Curry leaves 4 or 5

To add to batter

  • Curd (optional) 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - tsp

Method:

  • Grind the sprouts, oats, ginger, green chilies and curry leaves with water to get a dosa batter.
  • Add curd, salt, coriander leaves and cumin seeds to the batter.
  • Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and smear it with a little oil.
  • Pour a spoonful of the batter on the pan and spread it to form a dosa.
  • Drizzle little oil on top.
  • Flip it and cook the other side.
  • Serve with chutney.
