  • tsp jeera or cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • tsp amchur
  • tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

  • Parboil the potatoes and leave the skin on.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add ajwain and jeera and let it crackle.
  • Add chili powder, coriander powder, amchur and salt.
  • Also, add the potatoes and saut for 5 minutes.
  • Cover and cook on a slow flame till the potatoes are cooked.
  • Take care that they don't become soft and mushy.
  • Serve hot.
