Healthy Recipe: Chilli soya chunks

Quick and easy recipe specially for vegetarians.

Vegetarians often do not have too many protein sources, but soya is one rich source. This dish is also low in fat. The addition of chillies and spices add a unique flavor to it which makes it healthy and tasty.

Ingredients

  • 50g soya chunks
  • cup spring onion, sliced
  • 2 green chillies, thickly sliced
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 garlic, paste
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Soak the soya for 1 hour in warm water and drain.
  2. Mix the soya, garlic and little salt.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saut till light brown.
  4. Add green chillies and stir for few minutes.
  5. Then add soya sauce, vinegar, nuggets and salt.
  6. Stir-fry over high heat for a minute and serve garnished with some greens.
