Healthy Ramadan Recipe: Pan roast chicken
A yummy way to break your fast.
Chicken is one of the healthiest meats. Roasting it helps retain its nutrients. Try this recipe.
Health benefits of chicken
- Good source of protein.
- Good source of minerals like selenium and zinc.
- Good source of vitamins like niacin, Vitamin E, betacarotene, Vitamins B6 and B12.
Chicken breast 500g
For marination
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chillies (crushed) 4
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Salt
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Mint leaves - few
- Oil 1 tbsp
Method
- Add the marinade to the chicken.
- Keep aside for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add the chicken with the marinade.
- Stir fry for 5 minutes.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes till chicken is done.
- Stir fry again for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
