Healthy Ramadan Recipe: Dahi cutlet

If you don't want to eat something too heavy this Ramzan, try this dahi cutlet recipe.

Health benefits of hung curd:

  • Easy to digest protein.
  • Contains calcium and vitamin D.
  • Helps maintain normal blood pressure.
  • Makes the digestive system healthy and strong.
  • Boosts the immune system.

Ingredients

  • Hung curd - 100 grams
  • Besan (thick variety) 3 to 5 tbsp (depends on the water content in curd)
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Elaichi powder tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - tsp
  • Black pepper powder - tsp
  • Oil 1tsp
  • Salt

Method

  • Roast besan. Cool.
  • Add all the ingredients to hung curd. Mix well.
  • Divide into small portions and flatten with moist palms to form cutlets.
  • Heat non-stick pan and spread tsp oil on it.
  • Place the cutlets in it and fry on low flame.
  • Flip over to the other side and fry.
