Exotic grape surprise If you want to hold a Diwali bash and avoid sugar-loaded, unhealthy aerated drinks here's a healthier alternative that's sure to be a hit with your guests. Fruits are a great alternative to artificial sugar. Fruits contain fruit sugar or 'fructose' which does not raise blood sugar levels unlike other form of sugar. This makes it a great alternative for diabetics. Remember, natural is always better! Besides, grapes are also rich in antioxidants, cancer-fighting flavonoids and vitamin C. Apples and oranges add flavour and nutrients to this drink, making it a pleasant surprise to your taste-buds and health!

Ingredients

Fresh black grapes juice 1/2 cup

Apples, finely chopped 3/4 cup

Orange segments, finely chopped 1 cup

Lemon juice 2 tsp

Soda 2 bottles

Method

  1. Combine the grape juice, apples, oranges, sugar substitute and lemon juice in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture equally into 4 individual glasses.
  3. Pour bottle of soda over it in each glass.
  4. Serve immediately.
