A gluten-free diet is not a fad diet popularised by Hollywood celebs, as many people believe. It is a life choice for 1 in every 200 individuals suffering from gluten sensitivity. Also, many people opt for a gluten free diet simply because it is more healthy. Whatever be the reason for eliminating gluten from your diet, there is a lot of confusion about what to eat and what not to, as almost everything food ingredient contains gluten. So to help you out, Nutritionist Deepshikha Agarwal tells about gluten-free foods that you can eat.

Quinoa: Replace rice and wheat with quinoa as it is gluten-free and high in proteins. It is low in calories and a great source of magnesium, iron, fibre and potassium. You can eat it as pasta and pulav or add it to your salads and kheer.
