Yes, you have almost reached the 100th day for your fitness plan which means there has to be a little celebration, but that does not mean you cheat completely on your fitness plan. So here's how you can begin your celebration which is two-days away completely guilt-free.
Morning--It's best to start your day by drinking something that boosts your metabolism and cleanses your system. Aloe vera juice is something you need. It is rich in various minerals and vitamins which are essential for your day-to-day body functions, and it also helps in detoxifying your system.
Healthy Recipes
Breakfast--Many times we have left over sabjis and rotis from dinner cooked previous night. We tend it those rotis and sabji for lunch, but until then the nutritive value of the food has diminished to a great extent. Instead of waiting till lunch, roll a the sabji in a chapatti and make a frankie for breakfast. It makes a perfect heavy breakfast because it is rich in carbohydrates and proteins that keep you going till lunch.
Lunch--Since it is summer, it is best to eat something that is easy to digest and still gives you the required nourishment. One such option is brown rice methi pulao. It is rich in fibre that keeps yuo full for a long time and also helps you lose weight.
Dinner--Keep your dinner light and try to eat at least an hour before you hit the bed. When you hit the bed immediately after your dinner, all your systems are resting but the digestive system. The digestive system doesn't get enough rest and is overworked which in the long run can affect its functioning. That's why, drink soup or eat a fresh salad for dinner. Here's the recipe for healthy barley soup.
Snacks-- You should eat at least six meals a day and eat every two hours. And that is when snacks like theplas come in handy. Here's a thepla recipe which uses soya flour instead of wheat flour and makes theplas even more healthy.
Exercises--
At home--Yes, you can go for a walk, follow a YouTube video and dance to its tune to stay fit, but do you know what's even more easy and burns more calories than walking? Climbing the stairs. Climbing the stairs has many benefits like strengthening your core and boosts digestion. SO if you are planning to workout at home, simply climb the stairs.
At the gym--Working out at the gym on the same old equipment can get boring after a while. If you too are bored with your routine work out it is time to experiment with battle ropes. Battle ropes are excellent to build your stamina and tone the muscles while burning calories.
Yoga--Suptavirasana or the reclined hero pose stretches and strengthens the lower body. It also works on abdominal muscles and is known to relieve constipation and menstrual discomfort.
Sleep well tip--Meditation has its benefits and when done at the end of the day just before sleeping it improves your sleep and corrects your sleep patterns. So before you hit the bed practise these meditative techniques for a sound sleep.
