Start your day with a morning walk with your dog. And then with a stomach-filling breakfast and lunch, followed by healthy snacking like drinking buttermilk to keep you hydrated all day long, have a light dinner. But don t forget that exercising is the key to stay fit. And what could be better than skipping or practising apanasana at home? If you need something more, then kickboxing is what you need. And before you hit the sack, do not sip coffee. This is what day 90 has in store for you. Also Read - Your stubborn belly fat isn't going away? Try these workouts and lifestyle changes

Morning: Instead of going for a morning walk alone, take your dog along. Involving your pet in your fitness routine not only makes exercising fun and interesting, but will also help you to burn all those calories without even realising it. Moreover, exercising with your dog or simply playing with it or running along will not only help you start your day on a healthy note but also aid your weight loss goal. Breakfast: It is important to pack a protein punch in your morning breakfast to keep you going till lunch. And as cucumber is in season, complementing it with soya makes it an excellent breakfast option. Try cucumber soya pancake. The high fibre content in soya keeps you full and satiated and the high water content in cucumber keeps you hydrated.

Lunch: For a nutritious and easy-to-prepare recipe for lunch, try curried chickpea pita pockets. A healthy vegan recipe, it is high in fibre and loaded with vitamins and minerals. As it is low in fat and cholesterol-free, it makes a perfect lunch recipe for people suffering from heart disease or at risk of heart complications. Here is a quick recipe of curried chickpea pita pockets.

Snacks: Instead of gulping down those chilled carbonated beverages or snacking on oily foods, drink a glass of buttermilk to feel refreshed instantly. It also helps you beat the summer heat and keep you hydrated all day long. If you don t like the conventional buttermilk recipe, here are five tasty and healthy buttermilk recipes you can try this season!

Dinner: It is good to have a light dinner and if possible, have an early dinner to prevent digestion issues. And what could be better than tomato and cinnamon soup to fill you up. If you are still hungry, then snack on beetroot salad, which is not only easy on stomach but a healthy and tasty option to satiate your hunger pangs too.

Exercises

At home: Did you know that Kate Hudson s fitness secret is skipping? So if you are planning to shed those extra kilos then a skipping rope is worth investing in. Although it majorly targets the leg muscles, skipping also engages the entire body. Be it morning or evening, skipping for 10 – 20 minutes is all you need to do to stay fit and healthy.

Yoga: Tired of trying every other natural option to fall asleep? Well, this time, try apanasana a simple yoga asana to deal with insomnia. This asana relaxes the back muscles and also focuses on the neck and thighs. Here is a step-by-step guide to do apanasana.

In the gym: If you are bored with doing the same old planks and squats or looking for an intense workout to boost your metabolism, then kickboxing is a must try. A full body workout, it not only improves your aerobic activity but also improves your endurance. It s time to throw punches and kicks for a toned body. And what s more, one hour of kickboxing burns up to 800 1,200 calories.

Sleep Well Tip

One of the key reasons for sleepless nights is drinking a cup of coffee just before hitting the sack. If this is the case with you, then it s high time you bid adieu to this habit as caffeine in coffee only worsens your sleep woes. Moreover, consuming more than three cups of coffee a day might further increase your risk of suffering from insomnia. So better be safe than sorry.
