Here is how to keep yourself motivated to workout on a Sunday

So Sunday is here again. But hold on before you think that it is again a cheat day or your break remember you just had a long weekend and if you have been holidaying like every other person then probably this Sunday you should get back on track with your workout routine. So make it a point to wake up on time like you usually do. No extra hour of sleeping on Sunday. Get up and go for a run early in the morning to burn those extra calories you just gained. Morning Start your day with a glass of karela juice. Yes, it is bitter but it is better for your gut and burns fat too. It helps to soothe indigestion problems and is a great shot for weight loss too. Also Read - Morning vs Evening workouts: Which is more effective?

Healthy recipes

Eating healthy should be the norm that you must follow, especially if you are back from your vacation where you had been hogging all the while.

Breakfast If you want to have breakfast like a king and eat a real heavy and healthy breakfast try making soya dosa for yourself. It takes just five minutes to prepare and apart from giving you a good dose of protein also provides with enough Vitamin B12.

Lunch If you are thinking of having more protein with the right mix of carbohydrates and don t want to have your staple chicken masala and plain rice then try this grilled chicken risotto. It is packed with all the important nutrients (it has vegetables too) and satiates your taste buds like no other.

Dinner If you want to keep it light so that you don t suffer from Monday morning blues then try having something light and healthy like this lauki moong dal with either rice or roti and have an early dinner.

Snacks Your sweet tooth craving for your attentions at 4 pm don t worry help is just around the corner. Make yourself this tasty fruit sandesh made with fresh low-fat paneer and any citrus fruits of your choice. There you are, cheating on a healthy note.

Exercise

To burn all those calories that you gained during your holiday you need to put your muscles and bones in to work again, here is how to do that

At home If you think your entire binge eating had made your washboard abs look little bulky and off shape try doing these five exercises that promise you killer abs in minutes.

At gym If you are thinking to do some cardio, trying running on the treadmill for some time at your gym to sweat it out.

Yoga If you are trying to do some easy yoga asanas at home, remember all your efforts can go wrong if you don t focus on corrective breathing and correct posture. So maintain the same and try some easy asanas like Surya Namaskar.

Sleep If you find it difficult to sleep try having a cup of vanilla ice-cream before going to bed which can help in the process of digestion and relax you enough to fall asleep. W
