Fitness Plan Day 77– Beat stress by doing things you love

Fitness is not just about weight loss and exercising, your mental wellbeing plays a key role too!

Morning–Wake up a little late. If you have been following our fitness plan for the past three months, you are probably used to waking up early. But if you don’t love waking up early, stay in bed a little longer. However, don’t wake up too late to disturb your schedule as that might again trigger stressful situations. Healthy Recipes

Breakfast–Eat a sumptuous breakfast, don’t skip it at any cost. Eat a carbohydrate-rich, high protein meal. Team up scrambled eggs or an omelette with two slices of whole wheat or multigrain bread. Drink a glass of freshly squeezed orange or fresh lime juice.

Lunch–Beating stress doesn’t mean giving in to your cravings and eating junk food. While it could be healthy to eat something fried once in a while, avoid making it a daily habit. You can eat For lunch stick to something like a brown rice pulao. Pair it with a some raita made with cucumber and curd.

Snacks–Eating in between two large meals is must and you must preferably eat every two hours. It’s almost summer and it is best to snack on seasonal fruits like watermelons or muskmelons.

Dinner–If you bored of eating the same old roti or sabzi and drinking the same old soup and want to eat something different, how about eating a fresh salad? Here’s the recipe to make an Italian Garbanzo Salad. It’s easy to make and delicious too.

Exercises

At home–Take a break from doing the routine abdominal crunches and other exercises and try some fun workouts like Zumba or other dance workouts. You don’t need to know the steps and can just exercise by watching a Zumba or Aerobics video on YouTube.

At the gym–If you are hitting the gym, do you favourite exercises. If you love running on the treadmill or enjoy doing dead lifts, go ahead and do that.

Yoga–Practise yoga asanas like Tadasana that help in stretching most of your muscles.You can also practise the cat stretch or Marjariasana that help in stretching the back and the neck. In the end, you lay in Shavasana for the longest possible time to relax.

Sleep well tip– Since your day is all about relaxing and doing things you love, have sex! Now don’t say you don’t love sex.
