It's a week already, and you must have started feeling the changes in your body. Your pants are a little loose, you feel lighter, you can sleep well and feel fresh throughout the day. But it's too early to rejoice, and you need to keep the pace going.

Morning--Make it a habit to get up in the morning and go for a walk. Walk briskly for at least 45 minutes. It not only keeps you fresh and energetic throughout the day but also has lots of benefits. The early morning sun gives you the required dose of vitamin D and reduces your need of eating vitamin D supplement. Also, if you have trouble falling asleep and stay awake staring at your ceiling or checking your phone most of the time in the night, a morning walk can help you get a sound sleep!

Healthy Recipes--No fitness plan is complete without food. In a bid to lose weight or simply stay fit, if you stop eating right and go on a crash diet, you will do more harm to your body than help it. Your day should begin with a healthy breakfast, and you should eat every two hours to stay healthy.

Breakfast-- Many-a- times we have leftover chapatis and sabji from last night. Instead of eating it again for lunch, make a vegetable Frankie. You can simply spread some ketchup or green chutney if you have any at home on the chapati. Spread the sabji over the chapati, add some chopped tomatoes and onions if you like. Roll the chapati and your frankie is ready. Here's a detailed recipe of how you can turn your boring roti sabji into an amazing frankie.

Lunch--Don't forget to eat a small salad or a small fruit before lunch at around 11.30 am. It is a time when most of us feel hungry and tend to eat a cookie or some other snack. If you are bored of eating the same old dal with rice, try this methi sambhar.

Dinner--For dinner, it is best to eat light. You can end your day with a bowl of dal, two chapatis and a bowl of sabji. Making a sabji with mixed vegetables is always a good idea because the body's need for different nutrients. Here's the recipe to make a capsicum and a paneer sabji.

Snack--If you are bored of eating a salad or fruit, it is best to drink some soup. A cup of soup is not very heavy and keeps your full for a long time. And hence, it is best if you drink some soup a little before your dinner as it will help you eat light in the night. There are many options in soups, and one need not limit oneself to tomato or chicken soup. Here's a delicious moong dal soup recipe.

Exercises

You must exercise for at least 45 minutes a day, be it at home, or at the gym. You can also go for a walk or a jog or practise yoga. You may also go for a swim if that suits you. But exercising should be a habit and not something you do once in a while.

At home--Exercising at home can be fun too, and you need not worry about not having equipment or machines. You can get flat and toned abs at home too. Grab a yoga mat and get started. Here are 5 exercises you can do at home for flat abs. Along with toning your abs, these exercises also tone your lower body!

Gymming--There are many types of equipment at the gym that can be used for targeting different parts of the body. The E-Z bar is one such equipment. If used properly, the E-Z bar can help tone your arms and also your back. Here's how you should use an E Z bar.

Yoga--Practising yoga is taking a holistic approach towards a healthy life. It not only improves your health and helps you lose weight, but improves your concentration and alertness too.
