Two months and a week down hope you are even more motivated to achieve your fitness goal now. Because now is when you will slowly start feeling the results. Don t break the routine at any cost. Morning Mondays can be boring and it might be difficult to drag yourself out to begin the usual chores. Go bask in the sun. According to a study in the Oregon University, women with low vitamin D level are often more depressed and low than their counterparts. This may apply for men too. Moreover, Vitamin D is necessary for bone health and hence basking in the early morning sun is definitely beneficial. Breakfast Cook something easy yet nutritious for breakfast today like the vegetable masala idli. Ingredients like capsicum will speed up your metabolism and dalia will control cholesterol level besides keeping you full. Enjoy it with a healthy coconut chutney.

Lunch If you are pressed for time, this carrot rice recipe is your saviour. It is ready in a jiffy and does not compromise on the nutrition. Kids love it too. You can enjoy it with methi leaves sambhar or some curd.

Dinner Make a high protein, low fat dinner today. The soya bhurji is easy to prepare and can be enjoyed with bhakri, roti or multigrain bread. If you aren t very hungry, you can eat a bowl full of bhurji without any carbs. .

Snacks For your evening snack, make a bowl of garlic and beetroot soup. Beetroot not only boosts your immune system but also keeps your skin and hair healthy. The creaminess of the soup will keep you full till dinner time.

The best way to beat Monday blues is with some exercise.

At home Work on your abs because there is nothing so thrilling than getting those washboard abs. Try these 7 home exercises for flat abs and add them to your routine. You can even plan a schedule such that you work out particular areas on certain days of the week.

In the gym At the gym, work on your back because strengthening it is of utmost importance if you want to do more weights or add some new exercises to your regime. Try these exercises for a sculpted back.

Yoga Since it s all about strengthening exercises today, try yoga that helps strengthen your bones. Try these 5 yoga poses for strong bones recommended by celebrity yoga trainer Abhishek Sharma. They are easy to perform and will need only 10 minutes of your time. Try adding them to your routine.

Before sleeping It may have been a tiring Monday but from tomorrow on, you will be energised to welcome the week. Make your routine on Tuesday a little easier by planning the activities for the next day. You can plan the menu, decide how to distribute time for exercise and running errands or helping children. Also, if you feel you have some time in hand, finish the tasks you have been procrastinating on for a long time.
