Breakfast Sadly, though breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many of us tend to skip it due to lack of time. Instead of making that mistake, wake up 10 minutes earlier than usual and try whipping up this quick and easy multigrain chicken and apple sandwich.

Lunch If you re bored with the traditional rajma chawal, add a Jamaican twist to it to give your taste buds a new treat. This recipe of Jamaican rice and beans is packed with protein and fiber and makes for a great midday meal that will help in keeping hunger pangs at bay.

Snacks For those who aren t very good at cooking, a dish like tandoori paneer can seem intimidating. However, it is healthy and rich in proteins and not to mention, absolutely delicious! You can try out this recipe of tandoori paneer for dummies by Marika Johansson, a celebrity nutritionist. It takes not more than 20 minutes to prepare and can make a great post workout snack.

Dinner Spinach is a great source of vitamins, minerals and protein but many of us strongly dislike this vegetable. One way of adding it to your diet and actually enjoying it is by trying out this recipe of palak shorba. This recipe is also quick and easy and can be enjoyed with three to four rotis.

Exercises

Home The problem with living in a typical Indian household is the acute lack of space because of which exercising can seem difficult. If that has been your excuse so far for skipping indoor exercising, now there s an effective solution for it! Try out this no excuses home workout. This is the best way to exercise in small places and burn some of that unwanted fact within 10 minutes.

Gym Lower back pain or sciatica is the most common reason why people are unable to go to the gym. However, despite the pain, you can try out these exercises that will have low impact on your back and still help in toning your body. You can start with either one of the exercises and once the pain starts subsiding, you can try a combination of them.

Yoga If you re suffering from high cholesterol, practice anulom vilom pranayam that also helps in fighting against diabetes.

Sleep Depression and anxiety is the top cause for insomnia. You can try having organic chamomile tea with no caffeine before bedtime. It will help in fighting against depression and stress and help in calming your mind which will enable deep sleep.
